David Ogg
David Ogg
President and CEO

R. David Ogg, Jr. is the President and CEO of AGT, joining the company in April 2011. David retired from the U.S. Army as a Brigadier General on September 1, 2010 after 32 years of service, most recently as Program Executive Officer (PEO) Ground Combat Systems (GCS) at Detroit Arsenal in Warren, Michigan. As the PEO, he was responsible for developing, acquiring, fielding and sustaining the Army Ground Combat Systems, including the Abrams tanks, Bradley Fight Vehicle systems, Stryker Brigade Combat Team vehicles, Joint Lightweight Howitzer, and Robotic Systems. He previously lived in Huntsville, Ala., home to AGT’s Business Development team, from 1995 to 1996 as a project director for the Targets, Test and Evaluation Directorate, US Army Space and Strategic Defense Command. Mr. Ogg entered the Army upon his commissioning as a second lieutenant in the branch of Infantry and graduation from Middle Tennessee State University in 1978. His military education includes earning a Master of Science Degree in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces. Mr. Ogg’s awards include the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit (three oak leaf clusters), Meritorious Service Medal (three oak leaf clusters).

Tim Magnusson
Tim Magnusson
Director of Contracts

Tim Magnusson is the Director of Contracts for AGT, responsible for all daily activities involving contracts, subcontracts, purchasing, and cost proposals. He has more than 25 years of experience in government contract administration, most recently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for Miltec (formerly Military Technology, Inc.) as well as on the company’s executive strategic planning team. Mr. Magnusson’s expertise includes the establishment and execution of proposal pricing objectives, negotiation of procurements, oversight of government audits, negotiation of settlement agreements for disputes and appeals, and he has authored in-house policies and manuals for pricing, purchasing and contract procedures. Prior to his position at Miltec, he was employed by COLSA, SIGMATECH, and Nichols Research Corporation, and began his contracting career with the U.S. Army Missile Command (AMCOM) at Redstone Arsenal, Ala. shortly after graduation. Mr. Magnusson holds an MS in Acquisition Management from Florida Institute of Technology and a BA from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa.
